ASA GRUNLES
Acrylonitrile-acrylate-styrene terpolymer
Product Introduction
ASA is a ternary copolymer of acrylonitrile, styrene, and acrylic acid, developed to address the poor weather resistance of ABS. It exhibits excellent weatherability, maintaining stable properties even when exposed to outdoor conditions such as UV radiation, humidity, rain, sunlight, and ozone for extended periods without coating. It is particularly suitable for direct outdoor use without painting and finds wide applications in automotive, electronics, household goods, outdoor decoration materials, and other fields.
ASA resists UV radiation, moisture, extreme weather, chemicals, and environmental pollution effectively. It also possesses outstanding impact resistance, playing a crucial role in maintaining both residential aesthetics and utility value.
ASA resin extruded with PVC profiles has undergone 6000 hours of testing at the National Chemical Building Materials Testing Center, demonstrating high weather resistance and stable colors. Even under prolonged outdoor exposure, it does not fade or discolor, retaining color integrity.
